UUA has commenced a partnership with the Kyiv Rehabilitation Institute (KIR) to provide treatment to people (both military and civilian) injured through the Russian war in Ukraine.
KIR is an established rehabilitation center with state-of-the-art equipment and has already provided rehabilitation to more than 300 people during the war. With UUA active involvement and financial support, rehabilitation services for servicemen and civilians will be completely free. As a result of our partnership, KIR has doubled it's daily capacity and now helps around 70 injured military personnel and civilians every day.

We commence this partnership with mixed feelings. On one hand, we are thankful for the skill, professionalism, and care of KRI’s staff and what they do each and every day for the people that come through their doors. On the other, the need for this partnership and the growing stream of injured people that come through KIR’s doors is a reminder that the war in Ukraine continues, rockets are fired at Ukrainian towns and cities, and Ukraine needs our support.
