United Ukraine Appeal has recently procured two ultrasound machines for Ukrainian medics.

These new-generation devices are hand-held and connect to a smartphone or a tablet to present sharp, color-coded images.

These devices are already saving lives in the East of Ukraine, allowing medics to identify internal injuries and ceuterise internal bleeding in the critical minutes after wounding.

These state-of-the-art devices were financed by UUA (from Australia) through the generous support of our donors. They were provided by the Butterfly Network (in the US), shipped to Poland, and then transported to the frontlines in Ukraine in an example of global cooperation for a just cause.
